Originally completed in 1962 and designed by renowned Calgary architect Jack Long, The Exud (formerly Franklin House) is a concrete high-rise tower comprising approximately 53 residences. The building is known for its non-traditional layouts with low-placed, horizontal windows and non-rectangular floor plans, creating light-filled interiors and sweeping city views. Most units are two-bedroom residences around 1,000 square feet, larger than many downtown condos, and feature all-concrete construction that reduces noise transfer between suites.
